FDP: Next-Gen Analytics for Academicians and Researchers


Parivarthana Business School (PBS), Mysuru, successfully organized a three-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) titled “Next-Gen Analytics for Academicians and Researchers” from 5th to 7th January 2026 in offline mode. The programme aimed to enhance the teaching, research, and analytical competencies of academicians and researchers in line with emerging trends in higher education.

The FDP focused on key areas such as Outcome-Based Education (OBE), innovative pedagogy, analytics, artificial intelligence, research methodology, NAAC accreditation, and research ethics. The programme was conducted under the guidance of the institution’s management and academic leadership, with effective coordination by the FDP coordinators.

The inaugural session emphasized the importance of faculty upskilling, digital transformation, and quality assurance in higher education. Over the three days, eminent resource persons delivered insightful sessions on innovative teaching practices, NAAC accreditation (binary system), AI applications in teaching and research, analytical tools, research methods, academic writing, and ethical journal publications. The sessions were interactive and provided both conceptual understanding and practical insights.

The FDP witnessed active participation from faculty members, research scholars, and professionals from various institutions. Participants gained valuable knowledge on integrating analytics and AI into academics, improving research quality, adopting ethical publication practices, and strengthening institutional quality processes.

The programme concluded with a valedictory ceremony, during which participants were encouraged to apply the acquired knowledge in their teaching and research activities. Overall, the FDP was a significant academic initiative that contributed to faculty development, research excellence, and quality enhancement in higher education.
