Anti-Ragging Committee Organises Drugs Mukta Karnataka Abhiyaana at PBS Mysuru
Report on DRUGS MUKTA KARNATAKA ABHIYAANA
The Anti-Ragging Committee of Parivarthana Business School (PBS), Mysuru, organised the “Drugs Mukta Karnataka Abhiyaana” awareness programme in association with Parivarthana Trust, reaffirming the institution’s strong commitment to fostering a safe, healthy, and drug-free campus environment.
As part of this state-wide campaign, the Parivarthana Trust team visited the PBS campus and set up an impactful anti-drug awareness tableau displaying the message “Say No to Drugs”. The visually striking display created strong awareness among students and highlighted the seriousness of drug abuse and its consequences.
The programme featured an informative awareness session conducted by representatives of Parivarthana Trust, who addressed the students on the physical, psychological, and social ill-effects of drug consumption. The speakers emphasized the importance of making responsible life choices, adopting healthy habits, and becoming ambassadors of awareness within their families and communities.
Students from First Year MCA and Parivarthana Law School actively participated in the programme. A Drug-Free Oath was administered, during which all participants pledged to abstain from drugs and contribute towards building a drug-free society.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Raghunandan G, Principal, Parivarthana Business School, and Prof. Gokul, Principal, Parivarthana Law School, Mysuru. Prof. Gokul addressed the gathering and shared motivating words on the importance of discipline, awareness, and responsible behaviour among students in shaping a better future.
The programme concluded with a strong message that a Drug-Free Karnataka begins with informed, aware, and empowered youth. Parivarthana Business School extended its sincere gratitude to Parivarthana Trust for their meaningful initiative and valuable contribution towards student welfare and social responsibility.
